By car
Sandgate High Street is on the A259 on the Kent coast between Folkestone and Hythe, about an hour's drive from the M25 at Dartford or Sevenoaks.
The nearest motorway junction is number 12 on the M20 which runs from London to Dover. Take the exit for Cheriton and turn right at the traffic lights onto Risborough Lane, which then becomes Military Road. At the end of the road turn right onto Sandgate High Street.
There's parking in front of the shop which is limited to one hour until 6pm, and free parking outside Riviera Court, on Granville Parade, and on Prospect Road.
By public transport
There are regular high speed trains to Folkestone's two railway stations from St Pancras International via Stratford International, Ebbsfeet International, and Ashford International. The journey from London takes less than an hour.
There are trains direct from Charing Cross, London Bridge, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Ramsgate and Dover; from Maidstone East and Canterbury West via Ashford; from Chatham and Canterbury East via Dover; from Hastings via Tonbridge; and from Brighton and Gatwick Airport via Redhill and Tonbridge.
On arrival it's a short taxi ride or 20 minute walk from Folkestone West or from Folkestone Central the bus station is well signposted and the 102 bus costs £1.70. The office is opposite the second bus stop in Sandgate.
